Pike Place Market's Artisan Food Festival

The Pike Place Market's Artisan Food Festival celebrates local Washington grown and produced foods, beer, and wine.

Here are some fun factoids about Washington.
We are the...

- 2nd largest producer of wine in the country with more than 650 wineries
- largest producer of Riesling in the world
- largest producer of apples, sweet cherries, pears, raspberries, hops, and spearmint in the country
- second largest producer of apricots, grapes, tart cherries, peppermint, lentils, potatoes, peas, and asparagus in the country
- second largest exporter of seafood including salmon, oysters, mussels, clams, crab and halibut
- top producer of craft-beer along with Portland in the world
- coffee capital

So, how do we celebrate all of our fabulous local food, wine and beer? We head down to the Pike Place Market on September 25th and 26th and enjoy it! Along with the wine, food, beer, coffee, and flowers will be a variety of live music to tap your toes to.
