Fun Outdoor Weekend Ideas!

Sometimes the always desired weekend sneaks up on us and we think "what should I do this weekend?".

Here are a few ideas that will allow you to enjoy the summer sun and have fun right in or around our beautiful City.

Bite of Seattle: A classic Seattle weekend food festival at the Seattle Center. Enjoy trying all different delicious types of local food in the form of bites. There is also a comedy stage, beer gardens, cooking demos, wine a jazz area and live music. Tons of fun in the sun!

Kirkland Uncorked: "Wine, Dine and Design on the Waterfront!" With wine tasting, beer, a grill off, cooking demos, food, artist booths and live music this promises to be a fabulous time!

Capitol Hill Cal Anderson Park Summer Outdoor Cinema: Pop down to Cal Anderson Park in vibrant Capitol Hill on Friday at 8pm to check out the outdoor screening of the movie "Gentlemen Prefer Blonds". And don't worry, there will be concessions there to satisfy your munchies.

Japanese Bon Odori Festival: This weekend the centuries old Japanese Buddhist festival, which celebrates and honors the lives of deceased family members and friends, will take place on S Main St. It will feature Folk dances, exhibits, martial arts demos, traditional foods, and a beer and sake garden all set to live music.
