Riding the Rails! Our First Trip on Link!

With my visiting Dad in tow, Marco and I decided we would take our maiden voyage on Link Light Rail. Destination: Columbia City! So we embarked on our mission and started off at the underground Westlake Station. From there we boarded Link for the ride. Clean, uncrowded, and quite comfortable we settled in to ride the rails.

What did we like about Link? No driving, no traffic, quick ride, convenient bike storage, and overall a stress free way to travel.

Stadium Station is great if you are heading down to catch the Mariners, Seahawks and Sounders! Nice and easy. It is a great way to commute from the south end of Seattle into the Downtown core.

We used Link to sweep us into Columbia City where we had plans to enjoy a Historic Places Walking Tour and finish our evening at Verve Wine Bar for delicious food and tasty wine on the beautiful outdoor patio! It was a fabulous day! Thanks Link!
